Will Vertigo characters appear in Scribblenauts Unmasked?

So Warner Bros. and 5th Cell announced this morning that they’re releasing a DC Comics-themed Scribblenauts game — featuring over 2,000 characters from the DC label — to 3DS, Wii U, and PC this fall.

The people you’d expect are in there: Superman, the Flash, 33 versions of Batman, 130 Green Lantern Corps. members, etc. But I wanted to know if anyone from DC’s Vertigo imprint would make it in.

5th Cell artist SpacePirate Ridley has been chatting about his contributions to the game at NeoGAF (remember back when he was just some dude drawing game characters using Scribblenauts’ style?), and he shed some light on how the studio is handling Vertigo properties.

The artist says the game won’t include Vertigo characters that haven’t appeared in the DC Universe, and that it seems like they “have to be very prominent on the DC universe to be in.” He doesn’t think Sandman or the Endless will have cameos, but John Constantine/Hellblazer and Unknown Soldier will make an appearance.

Metallic Red 3DS, Eevee XL coming to Japan

Nintendo will release two more 3DS editions across the Pacific, including an Eevee-themed/striped XL that will be sold through a lottery at Pokémon Center locations starting June 22.

The Metallic Red system is a standard-sized 3DS that will hit stores in Japan on June 13.
